Facials provide stress relief and help to rejuvenate the skin. Reduce signs of aging with a relaxing facial treatment. Plano and Frisco area men and women trust board-certified plastic surgeon Charles A. Wallace, M.D. and his expert team for medical spa treatments.
What are Facials?
Facials are a great way to clean out your pores and maintain youthful looking skin. Over time, the skin can lose its vibrancy, and a facial is an easy treatment to refresh and relax both your skin and your self. Either on its own or combined with other medical spa treatments, a facial can boost your self-confidence.
We have several facials to choose from. Our most popular facial is the anti-aging Epicuren® facial that rejuvenates your skin and literally takes years off your face in one hour’s time. We also offer a teen acne facial that combines a light chemical peel and extractions to rid the face of acne, an aromatherapy facial if you just want to relax and a medical facial that targets certain skin disorders.
Benefits of Facials
Facials are gentle, non-surgical procedures that provide patients with an immediate result. Dead skin is cleaned away, clogged pores are relieved and signs of stress and aging are reduced or eliminated. Facials can be customized to give patients firm skin, a youthful glow or a powerful microdermabrasion treatment. Rosacea patients may also benefit from a facial to relieve and sooth the skin.
Is a Facial Right for Me?
Facials are appropriate for men and women seeking a gentle revival of the skin. This treatment is appropriate for teenage patients and older.
Elements of a Facial
Facials include several skin treatments. The skin is cleaned and exfoliated. Additional masks or treatments may be used to treat specific issues, hydrate or calm the skin, or to brighten or protect the skin. Microdermabrasion offers a deep clean and may be added to your treatment depending on your needs.
How much Does a Facial Cost in Dallas?
The cost of a facial will depend on which type of treatment you choose. Facials can be combined with other Med Spa treatments. Our expert team will ensure you understand the cost of your treatment prior to your appointment. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover®. Financing options via Prosper® Healthcare Lending are also available.
After Your Facial Treatment
After your treatment, you will be given instructions on what types of products are safe to use and which products to avoid while your skin recovers. This may include cleansers, lotions, makeup or other products. Be sure to use plenty of sunscreen to protect your fresh skin. A facial is not a surgical treatment, so you are able to return home and resume normal activities.
Getting Back to Normal Following a Facial
Dr. Wallace and the medical esthetician may recommend staying out of the sun for several days. You may also be limited in strenuous activities for a few days, but you should be able to resume all of your activities shortly thereafter. Following all care instructions ensures your skin is able to rest and rejuvenate itself following this treatment.
